Mia walked down the street with a folder and a text book under one of her arms. her long dark hair covered part of her face, she kept having to move it out of her eye only for the wind to blow it back into her eyes. She was so tired, she was out all night partying and so on. She though she would be fine but she was wrong she felt like she would just fall asleep while walking. It would be really bad if she fell asleep in class.

She pushed the door open to Starbucks and waited in the long quew. Apparently every one need coffee in Long Beach this morning. She waited passionately until she got to the counter. She ordered her usual Caffè Americano and paid. She picked up her coffee and looked around the crowded room. She spotted some one getting up from their table and she walked over and sat down on the last free table. She was happy to find a seat rather than having to stand.

She put her folder and bag down on the floor but put the text book on the table. She was meant to read over a section they were going over today, but was to busy to. She opened the book up and started to skim read it while drinking her coffee.

Mia heard the chair across from her move; she kept her head down but looked to the side. She saw Charlie Walton, another gang leader. He didn't think much of Mia's gang but, what he couldn't admit was she could hurt him, maybe not by beating him up, but she could damage his life and he wouldn't even know it was her. People never gave her credit for her work.

After he spoke she looked up from her book at let her eyes rest on him. She smiled slightly. "What a coincidence indeed." She replied. "You needed you're caffeine boost to?" She asked and sipped her coffee. Un-like most gang leaders Mia could sit down with another and have a conversation. She had done on many occasions but it was mainly discussing a job. She also took the chance to learn about the other, she might need the information one day. Plus she wasn't violent; she paid other people to be.
