Over 800 years ago large wolf like beings roamed the soils of this earth. They were feared by the Indians of the land, but also worshiped for their strengths and abilities. The Indians gave them sacrifices from their sheep flocks and cow herds. The wolves accepted them, leaving alone the villages and people, but a new threat soon came.

White men were invading the lands and taking over everything. This angered the wolves and they began killing all on sight, but little the wolves knew of the weapons they had. Instead of running and fearing the wolves, they began to hunt them. They used guns and knives, something the wolves had never seen before, so they vanished into the woods. There they evolved, turning from Werewolves to Lycans. They were able to keep their human forms and were able to live among the people of the world, but the time they chose to re-emerge was one of the worst. Talk of witchcraft and magic was spreading, and how all who possessed it were to be burned.

The lycans feared for their lives, so they stayed hidden and secluded. Slayers were being trained to hunt down the unholy creatures of this world, but to the lychons relief they were spared. They had been forgotten, but it wasn't long until they were once again discovered. The people of the villages began to fear the night and the Slayers began to hunt the lycans. Most thought they could not hold human form, but it was soon learned they could and killings of lycans in their human forms began to be reported.

The Slayers began to hunt the lycans as their main creature and their race began to disappear. Many Slayers appeared at night, when a lycan had no choice but to change into the wolf-like creatures. With fear once again striking them, they ran into the forests and hid away from the world.

The emerged once more, able to keep human form and change at will; but different conditions had different effects on the lycans, so clans began to form. The clans were separated by jealousy and hatred for each other. The clans began to fight and feud over who was better. Their war raged on for years in the silence of the night. Eventually all hunting for those of the dark arts stopped – the Slayers went into a state of dormancy, waiting till the return of the Lycans.The Lycans again began killing off flocks and herds, but with the disappearances and strange noises of them fighting in the night the Slayers soon returned. They were better equipped and with more knowledge of their species. An all out war broke out between the races, one against the other.

Throughout time the two have fought and many have been killed, generations of father and son have taken their places in the war, but the lycans still feud with each other, killing off each other along with the Slayers. As time passed the lycans had to go into secrecy, living away and in secrecy.The slayers began to create new weapons,one in particular they have used like drugs.Once injected this serum turns a lycan normal,and once their powers are gone the slayers force them into their school,and use them to learn more about the clans. In today’s world they still walk among us, along with Slayers, but with a new school that trains the Slayers, and The Lycan clans becoming more aggressive from the temptations of today, will the lycan race be able to survive? Who will be left standing in the end?

For centuries the city of Caridee, New Jersey has been hidden from the rest of the world. Once you’re inside, you never get out. Not alive, and not even dead. The city is infested with vampires, and in this city, it’s the vampires that are in charge. They don’t live by anyone else’s rules but their own. Not since they founded the city in 1600. The Native Americans had the land first, but the vampires who founded the city soon took control of the area, and disposed of the Native Americans, by killing them or making them their slaves. A few were turned into vampires, but most were just left to die, or be made a slave. It didn’t matter to the vampires, it was just another death to them, which wasn’t very much.

The first vampires to come into the city, the ones who claimed it as their own, were young vampires, having only been vampires for a few years and they had just come over from Europe. They were a small coven of 5 at the time, the Odisse clan. It wasn’t long before they started expanding the number of vampires in their clan, turning more people into vampires or finding other vampires who were loners and making them a part of their clan. But with the growing of a clan comes fights from within, and some people didn’t like all the rules of their clan, or they wanted to be the leader of the clan. It wasn’t until the 1700s that another clan formed in the city, the Amare clan. But that didn’t stop all the fighting, though it wasn’t until the late 1800s that another clan emerged, the Vulgaris clan.

Now, the clans were not just made up of vampires, they had humans in them too. And they still do. The humans are either slaves, or free, but most of them are slaves. The majority of the humans in the city were born here, and have grown up as slaves, with their parents being slaves too, but a few of them accidentally stumbled across the city and were made a slave before they could figure out that their was no way out. The only other way a human would be in the city is if a vampire had stolen them and made them a slave, which only happened occasionally. It’s rare for a human to be freed, but sometimes the clan leaders will free a human, and only the clan leaders can free them, but once they are free, someone from a different clan can easily claim them as their slave. The only way to tell the difference between a slave and a free human is that the slaves have metal bands around their neck, that can be used as a collar if need be. Most free humans are always trying to figure out a way out of the city, but have had no luck so far, and they are normally the ones trying to kill all the vampires, or help other slaves escape, but with the collar on them it’s hard. The collar never comes off, and it can be used as a tracking device, because it lets the vampire clan that owns that slave, read that slaves thoughts.

The Odisse clan technically rules the city, since they are the oldest, strongest coven, and were the ones who first took control of the city, but the other clans want to take over. The only problem is that only the leader of the Odisse clan knows the way out of the city, well, he’s the only one that knows how to get out and back in every single time. The other clans haven’t really figured it out, since even after the clan leader of the Odisse’s let’s someone out of the city and back in, he wipes out any memory of getting out. And the clan that controls getting in and out of the city controls the city. In this city, once you’re in. You can never leave.

Crime has overrun the world. You can't even walk outside without seeing it all around you. It seemed like the world was being given to the dogs when suddenly the discovery of supers were made. A good thirty years ago, it was discovered that people were beginning to be born with what people liked to call super human powers. Theses so called "supers" were praised and said to be the answer to the world's problems. In the beginning, there were causalities, of course and so much collateral damage that perhaps supers were not the answer the world was looking for.

This is how the S.H.C, the Super Heroes Coalition was formed some ten years ago. It was founded in hopes that people with super powers would get the knowledge and help that they needed to become better people. The S.H.C. decided that the best way to improve the skills and knowledge of supers was to get to them at their most tender of ages which was the moment they went into puberty. Soon Mount Olympus Hall was founded on the belief that Supers were the answer to all of the worlds problems and that they would bring about world peace with time and patience.

What the S.H.C. wasn't planning on though was that not all people with power are good. Some are bad by nature. Wicked through and through. And this is exactly where our story begins...
